The Recordist

The recordist, Hoby Paul Ebert, at Kennedy Space Center

Hoby Paul Ebert has been involved in audio production of one sort or another since 1983. Thirteen years as Operations manager of WMHT-FM in Schenectady, NY provided him with exhaustive experience in audio recording and editing, writing and editing copy for  on-air spots and program scripts, voice work, studio operations, and generally getting things done.

As manager of the station's volunteer-staffed radio reading service, Hoby became an expert in making people comfortable in the studio and this experience is a fundamental component of the atmosphere at MoonDogEast.

Seven years with the SUNY Training Strategies Group provided experience in the creation of, and providing audio for, computer-based training applications and web sites, along with related training instruments.

Throughout the years, Hoby’s creative music-making itch has been satisfied through participation in several musical partnerships including The BTU’s, Arf-Kaboom, and more recently, Pseudophone.
